Learn more: http://secunia.com/network_software_inspector_2/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TITLE: SMartBlog Multiple Vulnerabilities SECUNIA ADVISORY ID: SA30057 VERIFY ADVISORY: http://secunia.com/advisories/30057/ CRITICAL: Moderately critical IMPACT: Manipulation of data, Exposure of sensitive information WHERE: >From remote SOFTWARE: SMartBlog 1.x http://secunia.com/product/18551/ DESCRIPTION: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in SMartBlog, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information and conduct SQL injection attacks. 1) Input passed to the "idt", "mois", "an", "jour", "id" and potentially other parameters in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. 2) Input passed to the "login" parameter in gestion/logon.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. Successful exploitation allows to e.g. bypass the login mechanism. 3) Input passed to the "page" parameter in index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary local files. Successful exploitation may require that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and verified. Use another product.
