DESCRIPTION:
Gentoo has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in ptex, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to manipulate certain data and
malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to the use of vulnerable code from
the GD library, Xpdf, and T1Lib.
