The vulnerability is caused due to an off-by-one error within the "read_client()" function in webhttpd.c, can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow with a zero-byte by sending an overly long request to a vulnerable Motion HTTP control interface. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code but requires that the HTTP Control interface is enabled. The vulnerability is reported in 3.2.10 and prior. SOLUTION: Apply patch.
