The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow error in ds.dlm and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted packet sent to default port 524/TCP. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code. NOTE: An error within the LDAP component when processing invalid extensibleMatch filters has also been reported.
