This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid administrator credentials and that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled. 2) A vulnerability is caused due to improper access restriction in the admin/login.php script. This can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism and gain access to the administration section by passing "login" and "password" parameters in the URL. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "register_globals" is enabled. 3) Input passed to the "content" parameter in admin/update.php is not properly sanitised before being stored. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed in widget.php. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the attacker has valid administrator credentials. 4) Input passed to the "content" parameter in admin/index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the victim has valid administrator credentials. 5) Input passed to the "titleId" parameter in index.php, "t_lang[lang_copyright]" in footer.php, "url", "t_lang[lang_admin_help]", "t_lang[lang_admin_clear_cache]", "t_lang[lang_admin_home]", "t_lang[lang_admin_logout]" in admin/homelink.php, and "t_lang[lang_admin_new_post]" in admin/post.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "register_globals" is enabled. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.2.1. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised. Set "register_globals" to "Off" and "magic_quotes_gpc" to "On" in php.ini. Restrict access to the admin/login.php script (e.g. with ".htaccess"). Use another product.
