This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid user credentials with the capability to add new blog entries, and that the blog is enabled. 2) A vulnerability is caused due to the application allowing users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the request. This can be exploited to change an administrator's e-mail address, by enticing a logged-in administrator to visit a malicious web page. This can further be exploited to change the administrator's password and log in as the administrator. The vulnerabilities are reported in all 1.6.x versions before 1.6.7 and all 1.7.x versions before 1.7.5. SOLUTION: Update to version 1.6.7 or 1.7.5.
