The vulnerability is caused due an error in the URL filter when processing custom HTTP headers. This can be exploited to bypass the URL filter via a custom HTTP header containing the string "Host:" followed by an unrestricted site. The vulnerability is reported in version 2.0.12.10. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: This will reportedly be fixed in R3000 patch version 2.1.05.
