DESCRIPTION:
Alcatel-Lucent has acknowledged a vulnerability in VitalQIP, which
can be exploited by malicious people to poison the DNS cache.

The vulnerability is caused due to the product not sufficiently
randomising the DNS transaction ID and the source port number, which
can be exploited to poison the DNS cache.

SOLUTION:
The vendor recommends consulting alert documents 08-0555,08-0562, and
08-0565.
