DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the Linux Kernel, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow error within
the "dccp_setsockopt_change()" function in net/dccp/proto.c and can
be exploited to trigger a kernel panic.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 2.6.17-rc1 and later.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
