The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the processing of association requests, which can be exploited to reboot or hang-up the device by sending a specially crafted association request containing an overly long information element. The vulnerability is reported in firmware version 2.00.17. Other versions may also be affected. NOTE: Only the EU version of the WRT350N is affected. SOLUTION: Use the device only in a trusted network environment. The vulnerability will reportedly be fixed in an upcoming version 2.00.19.
