The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the "loadModule()" function in lib/WebGUI/Asset.pm while loading Perl modules. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code contained within an uploaded Perl module by requesting a specially crafted URL. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but requires upload permissions. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 7.5.30. SOLUTION: Update to version 7.5.30.
