This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 2) Input passed to the "SEARCH" parameter is not properly sanitised before being used in an "eval()" call. This can be exploited to inject and execute commands via specially crafted HTTP GET requests containing the backtick operator. SOLUTION: Update to version 4.2.4. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: The vendor credits: 1) Marc Schoenefeld and TWiki:Main.SteveMilner of Red Hat Security Response Team 2) Peter Allor, IBM Internet Security Systems ORIGINAL ADVISORY: 1) http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Codev/SecurityAlert-CVE-2008-5304 2) http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Codev/SecurityAlert-CVE-2008-5305 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- About: This Advisory was delivered by Secunia as a free service to help everybody keeping their systems up to date against the latest vulnerabilities.
