This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources. Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled. 2) Input passed via the "url" BBcode tag when sending a private message is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious message is viewed. Vulnerability #1 is reported in XOOPS 2.3.x prior to 2.3.2a and vulnerability #2 is reported in XOOPS 2.3.x prior to 2.3.2b. XOOPS versions 2.0 and 2.2 are reportedly not affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 2.3.2b.
