DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been discovered in ARB, which can be exploited
by malicious people to perform certain actions with escalated
privileges.

The security issue is caused due to the application using temporary
files in an insecure manner, e.g. "/tmp/arb_bugreport_[username]"
when filing a bug report. This can be exploited to e.g. overwrite
arbitrary files via symlink attacks.

Note: There may be further, related insecure temporary file security
issues.

The security issue is confirmed in version 08.12.19prv. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict local access to trusted users only.
