DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Novell Identity Manager,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site
scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to unspecified parameters related to "Page
Navigation" is not properly sanitised before being returned to the
user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code
in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Input passed to unspecified parameters related to "UIQuery" is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are reported in Novell Identity Manager User
Application version 3.0.1, 3.5.0, and 3.5.1, and Novell Identity
Manager Roles Based Provisioning Module 3.6.0 (User Application
3.6.0) and 3.6.1 (User Application 3.6.1).

SOLUTION:
The vendor has issued Field Patches.
