This can be exploited to inject arbitrary PHP code by sending a specially crafted HTTP POST request to the script. 2) It is possible to view certain system information returned by the "phpinfo()" function by accessing the user/uploads/phpinfo.php script directly. 3) The login/register_form.php script does not properly check for existing usernames when creating new accounts, which can be exploited to stop users from logging in by registering an account with the username of the target user. 4) The "user/info/users.txt" file is stored with insecure permissions inside the web root. This can be exploited to gain knowledge of sensitive information (usernames and hashed passwords) by downloading the file. 5) The internettoolbar/edit.php script and potentially other scripts do not properly stop processing if no valid session username is found, which can be exploited to e.g. edit the toolbar settings without having a valid user account. The security issue and the vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.2. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised. Restrict access to trusted users only (e.g. via ".htaccess"). PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: 1-4) Osirys 5) An anonymous person.
