This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system. The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the processing of "lladdr" or "iproute" configuration directives, which can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary commands. Successful exploitation requires that the user connects to and authenticates a malicious server, which is allowed to push configuration directives. SOLUTION: Apply updated packages using the yum utility ("yum update openvpn").
