The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the PGPwded.sys device driver when handling certain IOCTLs and can be exploited via a specially crafted program to crash the system. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 9.9.0 build 397 and reported in version 9.0.6. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
