Input passed to the "q" parameter when performing a search is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. The vulnerability is reported in version 2.3, 3.0, and 3.1 and is confirmed in version 4.0. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Fixed in the SVN repository.
