The vulnerability is caused due to the application incorrectly verifying the return value of the "EVP_VerifyFinal()" OpenSSL function when validating key signatures and can be exploited to potentially spoof server responses. This is related to: SA33338 The vulnerability is reported in version 4.2.4p5. Prior versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Reportedly the vulnerability will be fixed in an upcoming 4.2.4p6 version.
