DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in the Notify module for Drupal,
which can be exploited by malicious users to gain escalated
privileges.

The security issue is caused due to an unspecified error when a user
triggers the cron processing. This can lead to a user being logged in
as another user with higher privileges when Notify operations do not
complete successfully.

This security issue is reported in versions prior to 5.x-1.2.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.x-1.2.
