This can be exploited to upload files with arbitrary extensions (e.g. pht) and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires a certain server configuration (e.g. an Apache server with the "mod_mime" module installed) and requires the "administer content types" permission. 2) Input passed to the "description" parameter in index.php (when "q" is set to "admin/contents/types/[TYPE NAME]/fields/[FIELD NAME]") is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site when the malicious type is viewed. These vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 5.x-2.2. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and verified.
