Input passed to the webadmin module is not properly sanitised before being used to modify the "znc.conf" configuration file. This can be exploited to add arbitrary values to the configuration file via newline characters included in e.g. the "QuitMessage" field. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary commands by accessing the shell module after gaining administrator access. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 0.066.
