The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing XPath expressions containing scalar FilterExp expressions. This can be exploited to crash a vulnerable server by e.g. invoking the "ExtractValue()" or "UpdateXML()" functions with a specially crafted XPath expression. The vulnerability is reported in version 5.1.15 and 5.1.30. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 5.1.32.
