The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing HTML Help Project (".HHP") files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via e.g. an overly long filename in the "[FILES]" section of an HTML Help Project file. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 5.7. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Do not open untrusted HTML Help Project files using the application.
