An error in the Solaris NFS server grants multiple security modes to certain NFSv3 remote clients, which can be exploited to gain unauthorised access to shared files. The security issue is reported in Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris for both the SPARC and x86 platforms. NOTE: This affects only NFS servers that support NFSv3 and multiple security modes.
