The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing *.SRT subtitle files. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by e.g. tricking a user into previewing or encoding a media file with a specially crafted subtitle file. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.0.11. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Do not process untrusted subtitle files.
