DESCRIPTION:
zAx has discovered some vulnerabilities in Chasys Media Player, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to boundary errors within the
processing of .pls and .m3u playlist files, which can be exploited to
cause stack-based buffer overflows when a user opens a specially
crafted playlist file containing overly long entries.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.1. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not open files from untrusted sources.
