This can be exploited to e.g. create user accounts by enticing a logged in administrator to visit a malicious web page 2) Input passed to the file_manager plugin ("admin/?/plugin/file_manager/view/") is not properly verified before being used to open files. This can be exploited to open arbitrary files from local resources via directory traversal attacks. 3) The application returns different responses depending on whether or not a valid e-mail address is supplied during the password recovery procedure. This can be exploited to enumerate valid e-mail addresses. 4) Input passed via the "page[keywords]" and "page[description]" parameters in index.php ("admin/?/page/edit/") is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site when the malicious page is viewed. Successful exploitation of one or more of the vulnerabilities may result in the execution of arbitrary PHP code, as users are able to embed PHP in page sources. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.9.4. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified and sanitised. Do not visit untrusted web sites while logged on to the application. Restrict access to trusted users only. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Justin C.
