Apollo 37zz Playlist Processing Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
Cyber-Zone has discovered a vulnerability in Apollo 37zz, which can
be exploited by malicious people to potentially compromise a user's
system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing
of playlist files. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer
overflow via e.g. an M3U file having an overly long entry.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 37.0.0.0. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted playlists.

Use another product as the vendor has discontinued the support.
