This fixes a security issue, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security restrictions. The security issue is caused due to multipathd creating a world-writable socket, which can be exploited to e.g. send arbitrary commands to the multipath daemon. SOLUTION: Updated packages are available via Red Hat Network. http://rhn.redhat.com ORIGINAL ADVISORY: RHSA-2009-0411: https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2009-0411.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- About: This Advisory was delivered by Secunia as a free service to help everybody keeping their systems up to date against the latest vulnerabilities.
