HTML Email Creator Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
dun has discovered some vulnerabilities in HTML Email Creator, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to boundary errors when processing
e.g. "src", "href", and "background" attributes in HTML files. These
can be exploited to cause stack-based buffer overflows when the user
is tricked into loading a specially crafted HTML file.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.1 build 668. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not load HTML files from untrusted sources.
