Aqua CMS SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Aqua CMS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed via the "userSID" cookie parameter is not properly
sanitised before being used in an SQL query in
droplets/functions/base.php. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL
queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed via the "username" parameter in admin/index.php is
not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities requires that
"magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1 (030608). Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
