Aruba Mobility Controller Public Key SSH Authentication Security
Bypass

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Aruba Mobility Controller, which
can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within the
key-based SSH authentication component, which can be exploited to
gain unauthorised SSH access to the management account of an Aruba
Mobility Controller.

Successful exploitation requires that key-based SSH authentication is
enabled (not enabled by default).

The vulnerability is reported in version 3.3.1.x, 3.3.2.x, RN 1.0,
and RN 2.0.

SOLUTION:
Apply the patch 3.3.1.24, 3.3.2.11, or 3.3.2.8-rn-2.1_20469 or later.
