MataChat "nickname" and "color" Script Insertion Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in MataChat, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed to the "nickname" and "color" parameters in input.php is
not properly sanitised before being stored and used. This can be
exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be
executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site
when malicious data is viewed.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Use another product.
