Bitweaver "version" Directory Traversal Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Bitweaver, which can be
exploited by malicious people to manipulate certain data.

Input passed to the "version" parameter in boards/boards_rss.php is
not properly verified before being used to create files. This can be
exploited to create files on the system via directory traversal
attacks.

Note: Malicious users can inject e.g. Smarty template code into the
created file, which can be exploited to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.6. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
