DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Mini-stream CastRipper, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
playlist files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer
overflow via e.g. an M3U file having an overly long entry.

This is related to:
SA34647

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.50.70. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted playlists.
