The vulnerability is caused due to improper access restrictions when accessing the administration interface. This can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism and gain access to the administration control panel by setting the "usernamed" cookie. The vulnerability is reported in version 3.4. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to the "admin/" directory (e.g. via .htaccess).
