Drupal Quiz Module Script Insertion Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the Quiz module for Drupal,
which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion
attacks.

Input passed to the Quiz module is not properly sanitised before
being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script
code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of
an affected site when the malicious data is viewed.

Successful exploitation requires access to create quizzes or quiz
questions.

The vulnerability is reported in all versions of Quiz for Drupal 5.x,
Quiz 6.x-2.x prior to 6.x-2.2, and Quiz 6.x-3.x prior to 6.x-3.0.

SOLUTION:
Update to Quiz 6.x-2.2 or Quiz 6.x-3.0.
