DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Lightweight Availability
Collection Tool, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to
perform certain actions with escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to a race condition error and may
allow overwriting arbitrary files on the system.

The vulnerability is reported in version 3.0. Prior versions may also
be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.1.
