Gentoo syslog-ng "chroot()" Weakness

DESCRIPTION:
Gentoo has acknowledged a weakness in syslog-ng, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The weakness is caused due to syslog-ng not properly changing the
directory before calling "chroot()", which can lead to the current
working directory being outside of the new root.

SOLUTION:
Apply updated packages.

Syslog-ng 2.0 users:
Update to "app-admin/syslog-ng-2.0.10" or later.

Syslog-ng 2.1 users:
Update to "app-admin/syslog-ng-2.1.3" or later.
