The security issue is caused due to the application setting insecure default permissions on the "NOS" installation directory. This can be exploited to gain escalated privileges by e.g. replacing the getPlus_HelperSvc.exe service binary. The security issue is confirmed in version 1.6.2.36. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Remove unprivileged access from the permissions set on the "NOS" directory.
