MyBackup Information Disclosure and File Inclusion Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
SirGod has discovered some vulnerabilities in MyBackup, which can be
exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system and by
malicious people to disclose sensitive information.

1) Input passed to the "filename" in down.php is not properly
verified before being used to read files. This can be exploited to
download arbitrary files from local resources via directory traversal
attacks.

2) Input passed to the "main_content" parameter in index.php is not
properly verified before being used to include files. This can be
exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external
resources.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires administrative
access to the application, which can be accomplished by exploiting
vulnerability #1.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.4.0. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
