DESCRIPTION:
hack4love has discovered a vulnerability in PIPL, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing
of playlist files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer
overflow e.g. when a user is tricked into opening and playing a
specially crafted playlist file.

Successful exploitation allows execution of  arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.5.0D. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not open files from untrusted sources.
