DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in IBM DB2, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges or
by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) An unspecified error in the DAS command can be exploited to gain
unauthorised access.

2) An unspecified error in the DB2JDS service can be exploited to
cause a crash via specially crafted packets.

NOTE: A UNIX-specific private memory leak in the security component
has also been reported.

SOLUTION:
Update to FixPack 18.
