DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the Update Scanner extension for
Firefox, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a
user's system.

Input passed via a web page is not properly sanitised before being
rendered in "chrome:" context
(chrome://updatescan/content/diffPage.xul). This can be exploited to
inject and execute arbitrary Javascript code in "chrome:" context.

Successful exploitation requires that a user monitors a web page that
is controlled by an attacker.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.0.3

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.0.4.
