DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has reported some vulnerabilities in Sniper Elite,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerabilities are caused due to NULL-pointer dereference errors
when processing 0x1D, 0x1E, 0x6F, 0x86, 0x87, and 0x88 game packets.
These can be exploited to crash an affected server via specially
crafted UDP packets.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.0. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict game access to trusted users only.
