The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the "strListGetItem()" function when parsing external authentication headers. This can be exploited to trigger the execution of an infinite loop via a header containing ',' characters. Successful exploitation requires that an "external_acl_type" configuration option defining a delimiter different from ',' is present. The vulnerability is reported in version 2.7.STABLE3. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to trusted users only.
