This is related to vulnerability #2 in: SA28359 This vulnerability affects the 8.4.1, 8.3.8, 8.2.14, 8.1.18, 8.0.22, and 7.4.26 branches. 2) An error exists when binding to an LDAP server with an empty password. Depending on the LDAP implementation and configuration used, this can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism. This vulnerability affects the 8.3 and 8.2 branches. 3) It is possible to terminate the backend server by reloading libraries from "$libdir/plugins".
