Thin "X-Forwarded-For" Client Address Spoofing Security Issue

DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in Thin, which can be exploited by
malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks.

The security issue is caused due to the application using the HTTP
"X-Forwarded-For" header to determine a client's IP address, which
can be exploited to spoof the address by sending a specially crafted
request.

The security issue is reported in version 1.2.3. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
